Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the Midlands team, based in Derby or Nottingham. You will lead a QS function across high-value infrastructure projects, particularly in the water sector, supporting client relationships and contract strategy.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, manage commercial and procurement activities, and help deliver value-driven solutions while developing leadership and consulting skills within a collaborative, flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Member of RICS or equivalent body.
• Experience leading a team in major programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management across client and supply chain.
• Ability to develop and win work through bid writing and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Midlands-based quantity surveying team across complex infrastructure programmes.
• Advise clients on commercial and contractual strategies to maximise value.
• Develop and manage relationships with multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners.
• Support bid writing and pre-contract engagement to win new work.
