Are you currently working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge, or a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career?

We have partnered with a longstanding client experiencing sustained growth, seeking to strengthen their commercial team by hiring a Managing Quantity Surveyor in Essex to oversee the commercial aspects of Civil Engineering projects across London & Essex.

Our client is a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor in the Civil Engineering industry.

Role Purpose:

1. Contract Management: Oversee NEC Contract administration and reporting, with a focus on change management.
2. Value Engineering: Lead value engineering efforts, including Compensation Event Quotation development, formal submissions, and negotiations.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
4. Risk Management: Lead Change Management and Risk Reduction meetings, providing commercial risk advice to the project team.
5. Commercial Governance: Ensure compliance with commercial governance and maintain accurate records.
