Role Overview

We seek a dynamic and commercially driven Managing Director to lead ICONOMI UK into its next growth phase. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader who is ready to step up into a Managing Director role. Reporting directly to the Board, the Managing Director will be responsible for driving commercial success, strategic vision, and operational excellence while ensuring strong regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic leadership: Develop and execute a clear vision for the company’s growth, ensuring commercial success and long-term sustainability.
  2. Business development: Identify and capitalize on new revenue streams, partnerships, and market opportunities to expand ICONOMI’s footprint.
  3. Operational excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and high performance across all business functions.
  4. Regulatory & compliance oversight: Work closely with the compliance and risk management team to maintain industry-leading regulatory standards.
  5. Stakeholder management: Build & maintain strong relationships with investors, regulators, partners, and key clients.
  6. Team leadership: Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  7. Financial management: Drive financial performance, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
  8. Market positioning: Enhance ICONOMI’s brand reputation and positioning within the global crypto and fintech space.
  9. Travel: Engage in regular travel across Europe and the UK to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and ensure effective company-wide engagement.

  2. A track record of driving business growth, securing partnerships, and increasing revenue streams.
  3. Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks in financial or crypto sectors.
  4. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  5. Previous experience in a senior leadership role, such as CCO, COO, or Head of Business Development, looking to step up into a Managing Director position.
