Job summary

Fortescue Zero in Oxford seeks a Managing Director – Power Systems to lead engineering, product development and programme delivery across our global power systems portfolio. You will own end-to-end lifecycle from concept to customer acceptance, building capability, scaling delivery and turning ambitious technology into safe, reliable and commercially successful products.

This senior role reports to the CTO and partners with Sales, Commercial and Finance to drive profitability while upholding

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience in a large engineering or product organisation.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams through full product lifecycle.
• Experience taking complex electrical/tech products from concept to production.
• Strong commercial and financial capability with P&L responsibility.
• Extensive programme governance and large-scale project delivery experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary organisation across electrical, mechanical, software and programme management.
• Own engineering, design and delivery from concept through commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Set engineering standards, governance and technical assurance processes for safe, reliable products.
• Ensure portfolio commitments are delivered on time, within budget and to quality.
• Partner with Sales, Commercial and Finance on bids, pricing, contracts and delivery risk.
• Translate Fortescue Zero's strategy into executable plans to scale capability and performance.
