Gallagher Bassett, a leading loss-adjusting and claims services provider, seeks a Managing Director to lead strategy, performance and growth. You will build a high-performing team, strengthen client relationships and position the business as the first-choice partner for insurers, brokers and corporate clients.

In this role, you will drive profitability, oversee budgets, ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance, and champion innovation.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in loss adjusting, claims or insurance operations.
• Proven track record of driving growth and commercial performance, including P&L responsibility.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with market credibility.
• ACII or FCII qualification desirable.

Overview

As Managing Director, you will lead the strategy, performance and growth of the business, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service, strong financial results and market-leading technical expertise.

You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, strengthening client relationships and positioning the business as the first-choice partner for insurers, brokers and corporate clients.

• Ensure excellence in service delivery, technical quality and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain senior relationships across clients, brokers, insurers and industry stakeholders.
• Champion innovation, technology and continuous improvement across the business.
• Represent the business externally, enhancing market profile and supporting business development initiatives.

About You

• Significant leadership experience within loss adjusting, claims or insurance operations, with strong technical expertise across Property and/or Casualty claims.
• Proven track record of driving business growth, operational excellence and commercial performance, including P&L responsibility.
• Experienced in leading, developing and motivating high-performing technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with an established network and market credibility.
• ACII or FCII qualified (ACILA/FCILA desirable).
• Strategic, commercial and growth-focused leader with a collaborative approach.
• Highly credible relationship builder, passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes.
• Innovative and forward-thinking, with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
