This pivotal role involves overseeing cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance, and driving ambitious growth targets. The ideal candidate should have a background in managing companies within payroll, recruitment, or financial services sectors.

  • Align operations and initiatives with business goals, working closely with the board.

Operational Oversight & Growth:

  • Oversee operations across all locations, ensuring seamless execution and consistent service quality.
  • Develop and implement strategies for entering new markets and sectors, and increasing revenue in existing locations, with quarterly performance reviews.
  • Drive business development initiatives in collaboration with marketing and sales teams to expand the client base.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law, financial regulations, and company policies. Basic knowledge of UK law is sufficient, as legal teams handle jurisdiction-specific compliance.
  • Manage risk and governance, maintaining high standards of operational compliance.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the senior management team, setting clear goals and responsibilities.
  • Foster a strong team culture emphasizing work ethic, collaboration, and regulatory adherence.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure talent aligns with company goals.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in engagements with investors, regulatory bodies, and key partners.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of payroll management.
  • Basic knowledge of UK employment law is sufficient, with legal teams handling compliance.
  • Track record of growing businesses, achieving revenue targets, and expanding internationally.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, mentorship, and performance management skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
