Our client is a Global MedTech Company that is a manufacturing leader in Infection Control, Decontamination and Sterilisation. With plans for further growth, this is a key role within an organisation that prides itself on being the most trusted healthcare manufacturer. Guided Solutions has been retained to run the search for a Managing Director who will join their UK team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference through overseeing company operations to ensure operational efficiency, sales and profit growth, new product development, organisational development and cost-effective management of resources. You will be responsible for ensuring the business meets or exceeds quality standards, including FDA and ISO compliance. Additionally, you will champion and drive forward the strategy and product roadmap.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives, promoting revenue, profitability, and growth.
  • Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, new product development, and resource management.
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and revenues.
  • Identify acquisition and merger opportunities and oversee their implementation.
  • Approve operational procedures, policies, and standards, ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to monitor progress and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Evaluate employee performance for compliance and contribution towards objectives.
  • Promote the company to various constituencies to establish new distribution channels.
  • Direct company planning and policymaking.
  • Develop product generation and roadmap plans.
  • Create product strategies as input for R&D development plans.
  • Develop Market Requirement Specifications and oversee product launch activities.
  • Manage product phase-in and phase-out processes.
