Salary: £100,000 basic + £50,000 bonus

A hugely successful privately owned supplier to the UK's takeaway and casual dining sector is seeking a commercially driven Managing Director to lead the business through its next phase of development.

With a loyal customer base and daily deliveries across England and Wales, the business is a key player in its specialist food product niche. It has built a reputation for excellent service, dependable logistics, and strong client relationships, supplying a range of establishments from independent takeaways to national foodservice chains.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to professionalise and scale a well-established, family-run business while respecting its entrepreneurial heritage and customer-first ethos.

The Opportunity
  1. Take full strategic and operational ownership of a £28M turnover business
  2. Oversee commercial, financial, and day-to-day operations to ensure sustainable growth
  3. Enhance systems, processes, and team capability to support scale
  4. Drive market expansion and operational efficiency
  5. Lead a committed team through a period of positive transformation
  6. Act as a trusted advisor to the founders and a key driver of long-term value
About You
  • Proven senior leadership experience in foodservice, wholesale, FMCG, or distribution
  • Track record of driving commercial growth and operational improvement
  • Strong financial, operational, and people leadership capabilities
  • Experience within founder-led or family-owned businesses is highly desirable
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with a strong customer focus
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Midlands (Warwickshire HQ)
