At Kroll, your work will help deliver clarity to our clients’ most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges.

As a Manager, you will embrace change and take risks. You will solve problems, demonstrate stress tolerance, and influence others in our Restructuring business.

Under supervision from senior staff, assist the Advisory team with various non-formal restructuring and advisory assignments, including:

  1. Independent Business Reviews (“IBRs”)

  3. Pre-lending reviews
  4. Options reviews

  6. Accelerated M&A

Take responsibility for the day-to-day administration and control of advisory cases, performing processes required to ensure their efficient and successful completion. Working closely with senior staff, the successful candidate will be expected to independently undertake financial analysis and prepare initial drafts of reports and relevant outputs across various engagements undertaken by Kroll.

The ideal candidate will have experience at a top 10 UK accountancy practice or equivalent and be capable of managing the delivery of engagements. A strong academic background, including a relevant accounting qualification, is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Undertake detailed financial analysis of statutory accounts, management information, short-term cash flow forecasts, and longer-term integrated forecast models, including identifying and summarizing key assumptions, trends, and performance drivers.
  2. Support the preparation of initial reports for review by Directors and Managing Directors, delegating tasks to team members and ensuring their timely completion.
  3. Assist in preparing tenders for new work and lender panels, liaising with other offices and service lines as appropriate.
  4. Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to junior team members to support their development.
  5. Manage client relations and liaise with clients, agents, and solicitors as necessary.
  6. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including preparing information requests and queries, and confidently handling discussions with clients.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with professionals both within Kroll across different service lines and externally.
  8. Adhere to Kroll’s systems, policies, and relevant Health & Safety policies.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years’ experience at a top 10 UK accountancy practice, including a relevant accounting qualification
  • Relevant degree, achieving a 2:1 or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships across industries
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage ambiguity
  • Risk-tolerant, stress-tolerant, and adaptable to change
  • Engaging, driven, and outgoing personality
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
