DESCRIPTION
The B2B Payments team is responsible for creating and operating a worldwide collection of products and services, by enabling seamless business payments throughout Amazon. Our mission is to create the most customer-centric payment products, payment experience and procurement services for business clients that empower any business to engage with Amazon from anywhere and in any way. We provide invoicing, working capital and payment acceptance solutions to Amazon Business customers. We are part of the global Amazon Payments organization, who aims to delight our customers by building payment experiences and financial services that are trusted, valued and easy to use from anywhere in any way.
We are seeking a customer-obsessed, results-oriented manager to lead the Payment Success team for Pay by Invoice experience, our flagship 1P product. You will be leading a team that is responsible for driving reduction of defects, streamlining operations across distributed teams and scaling procure-to-pay payment best practices. This role requires a hands-on leader who is unafraid to roll up their sleeves and help unblock the team member. You will partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Sales, Credit and Customer Support teams to set the strategic direction and prioritize initiatives to deliver a frictionless payment experience to our customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong program management and analytical skills, deep operational excellence, and a proven track record of leading continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for payments success
• Manage a team of payment success managers to continually drive improvements and enable a better CX
• Develop your team of payment success managers, effectively developing their careers, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and customer obsession
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including FinOps, CS, Marketing, Product and AB
• Develop and implement mechanisms to contribute to B2B Payments scale in EU.
• Provide oversight and guidance to cross-functional project teams,
• Enable effective usage of data to identify pain points related the customer experience and create plans, goals and priorities to address identified pain points.
• Foster strong relationships with teams across B2B Payments, leading and influencing others effectively to achieve cross-functional alignment on goals and successful product/service launch execution.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing teams of 3 or more
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience delivering cross functional projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SQL
