About the role:

As Product Manager - Payments, your mission is to design and deliver world-class payment experiences by integrating local and global payment rails into our platform. You’ll lead the payments squad, working cross-functionally with engineers, designers, compliance, and business development to build resilient, scalable, and efficient payment capabilities across regions.

This role is instrumental to our success as we expand into multiple markets and onboard key payment partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for payment rails—local and cross-border—across Europe and global regions.
  • Identify and evaluate third-party providers and banking partners to support SEPA, Faster Payments, SWIFT, and other regional/local schemes.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory alignment and support go-to-market strategies.
  • Work closely with engineering and design to ship seamless integrations and intuitive payment flows for web and mobile users.
  • Create clear, structured PRDs and user stories that guide development, testing, and iteration.
  • Continuously improve KPIs around payment speed, cost, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Drive product discovery and experimentation, validating solutions with users and internal stakeholders before build.
  • Support and refine internal tooling and processes needed to monitor, troubleshoot, and manage payment operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–6 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, banking, or payment infrastructure
  • Proven experience launching or integrating payment rails in multiple regions, especially in Europe
  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory, and KYC/AML considerations in payment products
  • Exceptional product discovery and problem-solving skills—you’re curious, data-informed, and user-centric
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional squads, especially engineering and UI/UX design
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—able to clearly articulate technical concepts and trade-offs
  • Comfortable managing third-party integrations and navigating complex vendor landscapes

Nice to Have

  • Experience with wallets, IBAN issuance, or embedded finance APIs
  • Background working with partner banks or regulators
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment

Recruitment process:

Screening (with Recruiter) - 40 min

During this meeting, you will learn more about ICEO, and our strategy, and you will be asked questions about your experience and approach.

First interview: (with VP of Product) - 1.5 hrs

An in-depth discussion focusing on the candidate’s product management experience (with examples), neobank experience, technical skills and strategic vision for the platform).Leadership experience discussed and examples outlined.

Second interview: (Team Culture Check) - 45 min

A meeting to evaluate the candidate’s compatibility with the team’s culture, collaboration style and communication skills.

Final Interview: (with BeOne Head of Product and VP of Product) - 1.5 hrsA comprehensive interview with the HoP of BeOne to assess the candidate’s capabilities, long-term vision and potential impact on the company’s success.
