Job description

Growing international insurance and risk consultancy is seeking talented systems/model development specialists who combine actuarial knowledge with expertise across a range of programming languages (e.g. Python, R, SQL, Snowflake)

As part of the Life actuarial team you will apply your technical skills and problem‑solving capabilities across a variety of models, developing solutions for clients.

Unlike large‑scale transformation projects seen in Big 4 consultancies, this team tends to work with self‑contained small builds with a focus on optimisation, automation and process improvement.

Recent projects have included BPA models to optimise investment strategy and asset/credit work.

There will also be the opportunity to manage and develop junior team members, providing guidance while remaining hands‑on.

An actuarial background is key but FIA qualification is not essential (happy to consider candidates qualified by experience)
