Job summary

Rockfish invites applications for an Assistant Manager in Training at our Weymouth location. The role offers a clear training path and the chance to lead a team while supporting the General Manager in delivering exceptional service.

You will coach and motivate staff, ensure adherence to Rockfish values, and gain skills across operations, service, and leadership in a dynamic coastal restaurant group.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s experience as a Server or at Supervisor level in a similar restaurant environment.
• Flexible approach to working hours to support the business at peak times.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in creating a inspired restaurant environment through motivating, training and leading by example.
• Coach the team to fulfil their full potential and embody our core values: Care, Community and Connection.
• Supervise the serving of alcohol and ensure high standards of service during busy periods.
• Take on leadership responsibilities as part of a structured training plan for career progression.

The Role

As Manager in Training, you will support the General Manager in creating a restaurant environment where the team is inspired to care about what they do through motivating, training and leading by example all the way.

You will coach your team to fulfil their full potential ensuring you and your team embrace our core values, 'Care, Community and Connection'.

As a new Rockfish Manager in Training, you will be supported by a structured training plan, and we continuously develop your skills for a fulfilling career with us.

Will be required to supervise the serving of alcohol.

You will be required to have at least one years' experience as a Server or at Supervisor level in a similar restaurant environment.

You will have a flexible approach to working hours, able to support the business when it's at its busiest.
