About the Team

The Executive Support Team provides targeted support to the Executive Director and senior leadership within Professional Regulation, covering areas such as planning, management information, communications, and governance support.

About the role

Salary details:

• London: £44,065 - £48,961
• Edinburgh: £40,982 - £45,535

We are seeking a Management Information Analyst to support our core business management information and the Fitness to Practise improvement programme.

The purpose of this role is to help us create, utilize, and visualize management information in innovative ways.

The successful candidate will generate key insights from management information to support service delivery and inform our improvement plans.

You will play a pivotal role within the Professional Regulation Executive Support Team and collaborate closely with our central data team to transform data into insights that aid senior leaders in decision-making.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have experience analyzing large data sets, identifying root causes, and providing insights for data-driven decision making.
• Can work with colleagues to develop new methods for turning data into insights and automate analysis where appropriate.
• Are effective communicators willing to engage with senior stakeholders and discuss data insights.
• Possess advanced skills in data manipulation, visualization, and reporting tools such as MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and have working knowledge of Dynamics.
• Understand the processes that ensure data accuracy and quality.
• Can prepare and present reports to senior stakeholders and large audiences.
• Will support project boards as a data business partner.
• Are team players who enjoy working on progress and embracing new challenges.

Our team is small, based within Professional Regulation, and works within a larger matrix team focused on improving fitness to practice data and supporting improvement activities.
