Management Accountant - Chesterfield, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

This role involves working within a fast-paced technology organization, collaborating closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasts. It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and interpreting financial results to support decision-making. The role also includes providing clear analysis of actual and forecasted results for projects and assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide clear analysis to support effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing forecasts, measuring, and reporting on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare accurate historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons of actuals to forecasts/budgets.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, working with operations to ensure accurate contract reporting, scrutinize financial results, and challenge the business.

Who you are:

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Previous experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
