Job summary

Paul Card Recruitment is partnering with a growing family-owned manufacturing business in Middlesbrough to recruit a Management Accountant. You will work directly with the CFO, owning management accounting, product costing, stock valuations, and weekly reporting.

This is a hands-on role that offers real influence over reporting, process improvements, and strategic finance decisions as the business scales. You’ll join a dynamic team and have the opportunity to develop your skills while taking on

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing accounting experience.
• Strong in product costing and margin analysis.
• Solid double-entry bookkeeping knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.
• ACCA/CIMA or AAT qualifications or active studies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead product costing, stock valuations and margin analysis.
• Produce weekly financial and operational reporting.
• Bring outsourced accounting activities in-house.
• Improve financial systems and processes to support growth.
