Job summary

ABPM are retained to support our key client, an international healthcare products group, in a newly created management accounting role based on site at least 2 days per week in Birmingham, UK. The role strengthens the finance function by leading month-end close, delivering robust reporting, and providing meaningful analysis across the business.

You will work with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, with CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified senior accountants, and strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• CIMA part-qualified; ACCA or ACA part-qualified considered.
• Strong experience in management accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups) and financial modelling; ERP/accounting systems experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Improve data integrity, controls, and financial modelling to support decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and development of finance systems.
