Job summary

Expleo Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Preston-based finance team and deliver accurate, insightful financial information that supports business decisions.

You will lead elements of the month-end close, prepare accruals and journals, assist with VAT returns and audits, and collaborate across functions to improve reporting, controls, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Part or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong month-end and reporting exposure will be considered.
• Experience with VAT and audits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead key elements of the month-end close process including accruals and journals.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Support the production of management accounts and financial reporting.
• Assist with VAT returns and HMRC inquiries, and support internal/external audits.
• Identify process improvements to enhance reporting quality and timeliness.
