Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to lead the month-end close and management reporting at our Bridgwater site. The role involves end-to-end accounting, project costing, budgeting, and stakeholder partnering in a fully office-based environment.

You will support planning activities, deliver key performance indicators, and drive financial controls across the business. Apart from contributing to financial strategy, you will have opportunities to pursue professional

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA in progress or completed
• Technical accounting knowledge across month-end, reporting and controls
• Advanced Excel and data interpretation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end month-end close, journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Produce management reporting packs, variance analysis and KPIs
• Costing and analysis of projects; monitor margins and cash flow
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and cash flow modelling
• Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insights and decision support
• Strengthen internal controls and assist audit readiness
