Riverside in Cumbria is seeking a Management Accountant to join a farmer-owned dairy co-operative. You will perform management accounting for Lake District Biogas and stock accounting across the Cheese Business Unit, contributing to cost control and process improvements.

You will work with finance, warehouse and site teams on weekly and monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts, with a focus on practical, actionable insights for operational teams.

Qualifications

• Practical management accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Understanding of stock processes and valuations.
• Ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Prepare weekly reporting and monthly management accounts.
• Create forecasts and budgets, explain performance and variances.
• Maintain stock valuations and month-end reporting.
• Review stock movements, coordinate counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Strengthen controls and support audit requirements.
• Collaborate with finance, warehouse and site teams to improve processes.
