Riverside Recruitment is partnering exclusively with our client to recruit a Management Accountant, based at Lake District Creamery in Aspatria.
This is an opportunity to broaden your manufacturing finance experience, work closely with operational teams and make practical improvements that matter.
You’ll combine management accounting for Lake District Biogas, which converts dairy by‑products into renewable energy, with stock accounting and controls across the Cheese Business Unit.
You’ll report to the CBU Finance Business Partner, with no direct reports. Success comes through clear insight, good relationships and constructive challenge.
You’ll bring practical management accounting experience, an understanding of manufacturing and stock processes, and confidence explaining numbers to non‑finance colleagues.
You might be part‑qualified in ACCA or CIMA, progressing from AAT, or qualified by experience with a relevant manufacturing finance background.
Dairy experience isn’t essential. We’re interested in your ability to investigate, ask questions and turn your findings into useful recommendations.
Monday–Friday, normally 9am–5pm. Alternative start and finish times may be agreed to suit team cover.
This is a site‑based role, with occasional travel to other locations, including Haverfordwest.

You’ll join a collaborative finance team with scope to learn, contribute to improvement projects and build your experience across different operations.
