Job Description:

Management Accountant - London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal and Commercial, Estates and Facilities, Core Technology, Corporate Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to the lasting impact we make, helping keep the nation's critical digital infrastructures connected and protected.

This role involves working closely with the business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecast development, delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting, and providing clear analysis of financial results to support decision-making. The position is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide analysis for effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing forecasts, measure, and report on progress across cash, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Prepare historical analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons of actuals to forecasts/budgets.
• Manage two direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, work with operations to ensure accurate reporting, and scrutinize financial results.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.
