RG Consultancy in Knowlsey is recruiting a Management Accountant for a full-time permanent role. You will prepare monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheet reconciliations, while leading budgeting cycles and providing variance analysis.

The role requires part-qualified or fully qualified accounting professionals with experience in Sage/SAP/QuickBooks and advanced Excel. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, financial modelling).

Responsabilités

• Prepare and produce monthly management accounts.
• Lead the preparation of P&L statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles with senior management.
• Maintain robust internal financial controls across ledgers, accruals, prepayments and fixed assets.
• Support statutory accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and payroll-related taxes and statutory reporting obligations.
• Monitor cash flow trends, working capital, and CapEx tracking against project budgets.
• Assist with pricing analysis, tender evaluations and ROI assessments for group projects.
• Perform other adhoc duties as the role develops.
