Job summary

RG Consultancy are partnering with a well-established SME to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. Reporting directly to the FD, this role is ideal for ACCA/CIMA part-qualified candidates seeking progression within a growing organization.

The position involves managing monthly accounts for three UK entities, month-end tasks, and inter-company reconciliations, with hybrid working and a competitive salary as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or full qualification.
• Experience in management accounting for multiple companies.
• Strong Excel and ERP/Accounting software skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for three UK companies, including P&L, balance sheets and cash flow.
• Complete month-end tasks: journals, accruals, pre-payments and depreciation.
• Analyze financial results against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare regular financial reports for the parent company.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets and inter-company transactions.
• Prepare VAT returns and process monthly payroll.
• Support annual audits, year-end accounts and tax reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Support integration of newly acquired businesses and improve processes.

• Prepare monthly management accounts for three UK companies, including profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow.
• Complete month-end tasks, including journals, accruals, pre -payments and depreciation.
• Analyse financial results against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare regular financial reports for the parent company.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets and inter-company transactions.
• Prepare VAT returns and process monthly payroll.
• Support annual audits, year-end accounts and tax reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Support the integration of newly acquired businesses and improve financial processes.
• Hands-on experience of Sage, QuickBooks, Excel and/or Xero
• ACCA/CIMA part/qualified, QBE will also be considered
• 1 years' experience within a similar role.
