Job summary

Wasabi Sushi & Bento in Park Royal is expanding its Finance Team and seeking an enthusiastic Management Accountant. You will work within a growing business, providing insight into revenue and profit drivers and handling large data sets with accuracy.

The role covers month-end close, journal postings, intercompany activity, stock and payroll processes, and supporting audits. Proficiency with Business Central and Excel will help you thrive.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyse and spot trends within key P&L lines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with people from all backgrounds.
• High level of attention to detail and a can-do attitude to problem solving.
• Organised with a flexible approach, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support ESG initiatives by promoting responsible financial practices and tracking KPIs.
• Act as first point of contact for management account queries.
• Prepare month-end management accounts for Wasabi UK to tight deadlines.
• Post month-end journals including stock, COGS and payroll.
• Assist in year-end audits and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset schedules.
• Manage accruals, prepayments and intercompany postings.
• Oversee invoicing for major grocery partners and ensure order accuracy.
• Raising invoices in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and reconcile net sales.
