Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking a Group Management Accountant to produce monthly management accounts, manage intercompany activity and consolidation reporting. The role requires strong Excel and Power BI skills, plus experience with EU VAT and multi-currency transactions.

You will liaise with external auditors, handle balance sheet controls, and contribute to ad hoc analyses across the group. CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualification is essential, with study support available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of solid accountancy experience.
• Exposure to the commercial sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI is desirable.
• Experience handling EU VAT and multi‑currency transactions is important.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability; excellent data management and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce holding company management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow, plus consolidation reporting.
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and related parties.
• Maintain balance sheet control accounts with month-end journals, prepayments and accruals, and stock.
• Deliver ad hoc analysis, reporting and project tasks as required.
• Liaise with external auditors and assist with VAT and other tax returns.

A newly created opportunity is available for a motivated Group Management Accountant.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts, supporting the business with sound financial insight as drive growth. The work is varied, professional, and offers genuine scope to broaden your experience.

• Production of holding company management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow, along with consolidated reporting
• Review and reconciliation of intercompany transactions, ensuring all related-party positions are correctly aligned.
• Maintenance and development of balance sheet control accounts, including: Month-end journals, Prepayments and accruals and stock
• Delivery of ad hoc analysis, reporting and project-based tasks as required
• Liaison with external auditors
• Preparation of VAT and other tax returns.

The ideal candidate will bring 3 - 5 years of solid accountancy experience, ideally supported by exposure to the commercial sector and familiarity with Power BI.

Confidence in handling EU VAT and multi-currency transactions is important, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capability, excellent data management skills and advanced Excel knowledge. Due to the entity focus across the business group / consolidations experieince is essential.

You will show initiative and take ownership and follow tasks through to completion, communicating clearly and effectively across the organisation while supporting a broad range of stakeholders. Flexibility and resilience are essential in the fast-evolving environment, CIMA, ACCA or ACA part-qualification is essential, study support can be provided
