Natural Power is seeking a Management Accountant on an 18-month fixed-term contract to support end-to-end accounting for entities within the group. The role can be based in Glasgow, Stirling or Dumfries & Galloway offices.

You will manage monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and audits, while driving process improvements. The ideal candidate is part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with experience in management accounting, financial reporting, and VAT compliance, and can work independently

Competenze

• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience delivering month-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
• Sound understanding of month-end processes and financial controls.
• ACCA/CIMA or equivalent practical experience (partial qualification acceptable).
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organisation to meet reporting deadlines.
• Clear communicator with finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Interest in automation and process improvement.

Mansioni

• Preparation of monthly management accounts with variance reporting.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of VAT returns and VIES reporting.
• Managing budgeting and quarterly reforecasts.
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts.
• Liaise with external auditors for audits and tax.
• Maintain accounts information in ERP and support departments with queries.
