Todd Hayes Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to support the Finance team in ensuring accuracy and integrity of monthly management accounts from its Wroxham base. The role offers full-time hours with possible part-time flexibility during key periods and potential hybrid working arrangements.

You will build strong analytical reporting, manage gross profit statements and balance sheet reconciliations, and contribute to cost analyses across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• CIMA, ACCA or similar qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support the production and integrity of the monthly management accounts.
• Produce monthly gross profit reporting, including reconciliation and reallocation of monthly job expenditure.
• Complete WIP and revenue recognition adjustments.
• Reconcile and reallocate ‘Other Productive Costs’.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Carry out weekly timesheet checks and uploads.
• Analyse materials costs and committed cost variances, investigating discrepancies where required.
• Undertake labour cost analysis.
• Produce stock usage and variance reporting.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of ERP data.
• Interpret financial and operational data to identify issues and opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to resolve financial and data-related queries.

Management Accountant

Our prestigious manufacturing client, based in Wroxham, are currently seeking a Management Accountant to play an important role within their Finance team, supporting the smooth running of the department and helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of their monthly management accounts. This role is offered on a full-time basis; however, our client would also be open to considering a part-time arrangement for the right person. They are particularly open to discussing a flexible working pattern around key periods such as month-end. Hybrid working may also be available, with the opportunity to combine office-based and home working.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

You will have:

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills, including Lookups, Pivot Tables and Power Query
• Ability to interpret, analyse and report on key financial and operational data
• Confidence and diplomacy to challenge inaccurate or incomplete data
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
• Positive attitude and a strong willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility for tasks and identify opportunities for improvement
• Confidence communicating financial information and explaining financial reports to non-financial colleagues
• Flexibility and willingness to support the team in overcoming ad hoc challenges

About the role

As a Management Accountant, you will play an important role within our Finance team, supporting the smooth running of the department and helping to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our monthly management accounts. Reporting to the Finance Planning & Analysis Manager, you will have a particular focus on monthly gross profit reporting, cost analysis, reconciliations and maintaining the integrity of our ERP data. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and commercially aware finance professional who enjoys working with data, investigating variances and working closely with colleagues across the business.
