Job summary

The Job People are seeking a Management Accountant for a growing manufacturing business in Stone, Staffordshire. This is a 6 month temporary contract with potential to become permanent, offering a pro rata salary of 42,000 - 47,000 per year (22.00 - 25.00 per hour equivalent) depending on experience.

You will support monthly management accounts, assist with month-end processes and contribute to cash flow reporting while working closely with the wider finance team on various tasks.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in management accounting or a similar role (preferred).
• Strong month-end and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• ERP system experience (preferred).
• Part-qualified, qualified, or Qualified By Experience.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting.

• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
• Assist with audits, year-end requirements, and cash flow reporting.

The role of a Management Accountant:
