Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing private equity-backed organisation on the Wirral to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a business during an exciting period of growth.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you''ll support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and provide key insight to support business decision-making in a hybrid role with study support and clear progression

Qualifications

• Qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience.
• Experience in management accounting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/systems proficiency.
• Proactive, organised and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.
• Support cashflow forecasting and VAT returns.
• Contribute to board and stakeholder reporting.
• Handle payroll journals and expense reconciliations.
• Assist with audit support, budgeting and forecasting.

The Role

About You
