We're looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join our client’s Finance team, ensuring high-quality financial performance, delivering insightful analysis and helping drive continuous improvement across this high growth PE backed business.
What You'll Be Doing
As Management Accountant, you'll work closely with the Financial Controller and partner with wider business teams to deliver accurate reporting, robust financial controls and meaningful financial insight.
- Preparing monthly management accounts, reporting packs and variance analysis
- Managing month-end activities including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Analysing costs, margins, profitability and business performance
- Leading intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Maintaining balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations and controls
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
- Assisting with statutory reporting, audits and compliance requirements
- Providing financial support and insight to Operations, Sales and other stakeholders
- Driving finance process improvements and supporting transformation initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Part-qualified, finalist or recently qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Management / Financial Accounting
- Experience preparing management accounts and month-end reporting
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to demonstrate ownership of the accounts
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar ERP systems
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Intercompany accounting and reconciliations experience
- Knowledge of Power BI or financial reporting tools
- Exposure to finance transformation or process improvement projects
