Management Accountant - Central Finance

We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Central Finance team at our Appleton Thorn site.
Due to the location of our site, you will need to drive to get to and from.

As a Management Accountant, you will support the central finance department in tasks such as journal posting, month-end reconciliations, and business partnering with cost centre owners to enhance their financial knowledge within a £600m business.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for central overhead cost centres and subsidiaries.
• Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and maintain records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and liaise with stakeholders.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation.
• Intercompany Balances: Prepare monthly reconciliations with other Culina Group entities.

Qualifications:

To apply, you should possess:

• Minimum part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and confident.
• Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
