This role will work closely with the management accountant and is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to gain more day to day exposure to month end management accounts.

Our client is a growing business who are seeking an ambitious assistant management accountant to join their existing finance team.

Description

Assistant Management Accountant duties include:

• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with P&L completion & analysis
• Journals - accruals & prepayments
• Assist with VAT returns
• Assist with month-end and year-end
• Ad hoc tasks as required by the Management Accountant

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
• Have a proven track record in a finance role with some knowledge of month end processes.
• Be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables etc).
• Be an excellent written and verbal communicator.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines.
• Have a high level of attention to detail.

Job Offer

A salary up to £35,000 based on experience, hybrid working, study support, pension, holidays, on site parking & more.
