Job summary

Accountancy Action - Your Specialist Finance Recruitment Partner is seeking a German-speaking Management Accountant to handle duties from day-to-day bookkeeping to month-end close and management reporting. You will ensure accurate financial records, strong controls, and timely insights within a multi-entity environment.

In this role you will manage end-to-end bookkeeping, prepare journals, own the month-end close, and support budgeting, forecasting, and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in German and proven experience in management accounting and end-to-end bookkeeping.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, balance sheet control and IFRS.

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions.
• Own the month-end close process, management accounts and variance analysis.
• Maintain balance sheet, fixed assets, intangible assets and IFRS 16 lease reconciliations.
• Post payroll journals with accurate cost centre allocations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, year-end close, statutory reporting and external audits.
• Ensure robust financial controls, clear audit trails and compliance with IFRS. Collaborative communication in German and English.
