Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a fully qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant to provide leadership in financial reporting and control for the Hertfordshire region. The role collaborates with operational management to deliver accurate financial information and drive performance.

The position is hybrid, with 3 days per week on site in Hertfordshire, and occasional travel to depots in the region. A strong emphasis on business partnering and strategic planning is essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with previous relevant experience.
• Previous experience in business partnering preferable.
• Good working knowledge of spreadsheets.
• Broad system skills with Workday and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead in all aspects of financial reporting and financial control for the Hertfordshire region.
• Work with operational management to deliver accurate financial information.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets and Long Term Plan with GM, Finance Manager and Financial Controller.
• Analyze KPIs and post-investment financial performance.
