Chase & Holland is partnering with a fast-growing, family-run business in Lincoln to recruit a Management Accountant for their expanding finance team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role offers exposure to P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis within a manufacturing and distribution environment. Qualified or part-qualified professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA or at a later stage of studies.
• Strong stock/inventory management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced SME.
• Proactive approach to process improvements.

Responsabilités

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Providing variance analysis and financial insight to support decision-making.
• Analyzing and managing costs, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and profitability.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock valuation/reporting.
• Managing month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Supporting strong financial controls and compliance.
• Assisting with VAT returns and other financial requirements.
• Supporting improvements to financial systems and processes.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider business.

Management Accountant - Lincolnshire - Up to £55,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a fast-growing, family-run business in Lincoln to recruit a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant or experienced part-qualified/finalist to take on a varied role within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance, improving processes and providing meaningful insight to support business growth.

The Role:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting
• Providing variance analysis and financial insight to support decision-making
• Analysing and managing costs, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and profitability
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock valuation/reporting
• Managing month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations

You’ll ideally have:
