Job summary

Chase & Holland in North Lincolnshire is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join a fast-growing, dynamic business. You will assist in the production of weekly and monthly accounts, stock reporting and KPI reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for decision makers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar management accounts role.
• Qualified or in later stages of qualification as an accountant.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business.
• Strong reconciliation and analysis skills.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage own workload.
• Ability to multitask in a changing environment.
• Computer literate, including proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and periodic accounts in line with reporting timetable.
• Perform variance analysis to budget/forecast/prior year.
• Provide commentary to support accounts schedules.
• Produce periodic KPIs and reporting packs.
• Own capital accounting and fixed asset register(s).
• Complete accurate and timely balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies/standards and company policies.
• Prepare statutory reporting such as ONS and CIS returns.
• Support year-end accounts and audit requirements.
• Provide ad-hoc management and statutory reporting as required.
