Greater Manchester

Well established and profitable e-commerce business in Greater Manchester (just outside the city centre) requires a qualified and experienced Management Accountant to join a small finance team.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the month end close, delivering the management accounts

• Ownership of provisions including stock, freight and property

• Preparation and submission of the UK quarterly VAT return

• Weekly cashflow forecasting and reporting

• Approval of payment runs

• Responsible for the production of the group trial balance and statutory financial statements

• Provide explanation to auditors on complex areas

• Support with the annual budgeting process

• Execution of FX strategy including placing forward contracts and limit orders

• Responsible for continuous process improvement within the Finance team

The successful candidate will have experience as follows:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or finalist

• Demonstratable experience in a similar role and industry

• Ability to build relationships across multiple levels such as other departments and third parties to effectively solve queries

• Great attention to detail and level of accuracy

The role offers a basic salary of up to £50,000 plus profit related bonus, 22 days holidays rising annually to a maximum of 27 days. The role will be hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
