Base pay range

Management Accountant | Sutton | Property Services Business | £55-60K + Package.

Due to company growth, we are actively seeking an in-house Management Accountant to join a well established, successful and rapidly expanding Property Services / Maintenance Provider based in Sutton.

The Management Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the company. This role is essential in providing key insights and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to improve financial processes, maintain cost control, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Role: Management Accountant
• Base
  Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
• Status: Permanent, PAYE, monthly pay.

  Location: Sutton, Greater London (Hybrid Working setup)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts with variance analysis
• Support group consolidation and financial reporting
• Assist with strategic planning and detailed financial analysis
• Collaborate with departments on budgets vs actuals
• Prepare annual budgets and conduct quarterly reforecasts
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital
• Drive cost control and identify efficiency improvements
• Ensure statutory compliance and support financial audits
• Assist with tax preparation, VAT and CIS returns
• Improve financial systems and reporting processes
• Provide input on restructuring projects and ad hoc analysis
• Liaise with in-house accounts team and senior leadership
  
  

Requirements:

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified (or part-qualified)
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role
• Strong reporting, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills; SAGE 50 experience preferred
• Experience in trade-based industries (e.g. construction, FM) advantageous
• Knowledge of CIS returns highly beneficial
