Job DescriptionAn integral part of the UK Corporate Functions Finance team, the DB plc Management Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the on-time reporting of high quality financial data. The individual will be accountable for the accurate reporting of financial data, and for preparing and analysing information for monthly and quarterly reporting as well as for budgets and forecasts.
You will ensure that data is presented accurately and that any accounting issues are identified, understood and resolved on a timely basis through detailed planning and process management. The DB plc Management Accountant will provide insightful analysis and commentary for Senior Management. It is therefore vital to form strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business. In this role you will also be responsible for the preparation of management and statutory accounts for the De Beers UK Corporate entities (DB plc and other small UK entities), amongst other tasks. In addition you will take responsibility for the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and for liaising with external auditors.
