Commercial Management Accountant

This full-service Indie TV & Film Group is an employer of choice, known for their award-winning content that is popular worldwide. They are rapidly growing and have created a new role for a hands-on, commercially astute Newly/recently Qualified Management Accountant to join their UK finance team.

The role reports to the FD and involves management accounting, FP&A, and ad-hoc project & analysis work. It offers excellent career prospects and exposure across the business in a fast-paced, creative, and challenging environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Preparation of monthly management and quarterly accounts (P&L) analysis and commentary
• Collation of budgets and forecasts/reforecast across multiple divisions
• Assist and prepare cash forecasting
• Preparing cash flow statements and P&L for various new revenue streams
• Maintaining 3rd party distribution royalty statements
• Monitoring merchandise tracker and issuing advances
• Assisting with coding marketing invoices against the budget
• Managing sales orders on the financial system
• Assisting in month-end processes, including commission statements and sales order approvals
• Supporting marketing with budgets and finance-related queries
• Performing other ad-hoc project duties as required by the Finance Director

Qualifications/Experience

• Newly/Recently Qualified (ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven background in management accounting
• Some exposure/understanding of FP&A preferred but not essential
• Experience dealing with a global head office/parent is advantageous
• Self-starter with flexible working style
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
