Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner will assist the finance function of the business, participate in a wide range of finance projects and assist senior stakeholders across the business. The ideal candidate enjoys working with precision in a fast-paced environment, has a hands-on, can-do attitude, and a desire to learn from and improve processes and teams. Working model: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office, 2 days at home)

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide effective commercial procedures, or initiate change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
• Responsible for providing accurate and timely finance information and supporting decision-making with data and insight.
• Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance.
• Identify and measure key success drivers.
• Support the preparation of business plans, budgets, forecasts and departmental analysis.
• Support the preparation of internal monthly management reporting packs, annual statutory reporting (including UKGAAP and IFRS) and assist with ad-hoc management and headquarters requirements.
• Ensure the business remains up to date and compliant with relevant legislation including latest accounting standards, VAT, corporation tax, across a range of legal and accounting jurisdictions, across different regions (US, Poland and Spain).
• Review cash management information, making cash forecasts and ensuring good treasury and foreign exchange exposure management.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including the management accounting team, senior management, operations teams, finance teams.
• Manage a team of three from different seniority levels, owning their weekly workload and regular catch ups.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Qualified or Part Qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, AAT level 4, or equivalent), or at least 7 years’ experience in a broad management accounts role.
• Qualified to degree level or above.
• Strong UK GAAP experience and understanding of application of accounting standards.
• IFRS exposure preferred but not essential.
