Job summary

Vertex Associates have partnered with a growing professional services business to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role with three days a week in the Leeds office.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, perform variance analysis, manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and VAT returns, and support the annual audit. The ideal candidate is part-qualified or finalist ACCA/CIMA with at least three years’ experience and strong

• Part-qualified or Finalist ACCA/CIMA with progression toward full qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience with management accounts
• Understanding of revenue recognition and WIP
• Highly organised with strong communication and teamwork
• Commercially minded with ability to explain finance to non-finance colleagues

Key Requirements:

• Part-qualified or Finalist accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
• At least 3 years experience with exposure management accounts
• An understanding revenue recognition and WIP
• Highly organised, a confident communicator, and a natural team player
• A commercially minded individual with the ability to communicate to non finance colleagues
