Job summary

The Job People are recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team in Stone, Staffordshire.

This is a 6-month temporary contract with potential to go permanent, paying £42,000–£47,000 pro rata (£22–£25 per hour), depending on experience. The role covers monthly management accounts, month-end, and cash flow reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in management accounting or a similar role (preferred).
• Strong month-end and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• ERP system experience (preferred).
• Part-qualified, qualified, or Qualified By Experience.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end processes.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
• Assist with audits, year-end requirements, and cash flow reporting.
• Work closely with the wider finance team on a variety of finance tasks.

• 6 month temporary contract with potential to become a permanent position

The role of a Management Accountant:

• Support monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Assist with month-end processes
