Job summary

Talentedge Recruitment Limited is partnering with a high growth creative agency group to appoint a commercially minded Management Accountant in London. The role offers ownership of the full management accounts process, exposure to senior stakeholders and a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You’ll work with divisional leadership, support budgeting and forecasting, revenue recognition, WIP and project accounting.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA studies in progress
• Hands-on management accounts experience
• Experience in creative/agency environments
• Commercially focused and comfortable with non-finance stakeholders
• Experience with revenue recognition, WIP or project accounting
• Paprika experience advantageous

Management Accountant | Creative Agency

We’re partnering with a high growth creative agency group to hire a commercially minded Management Accountant into a broad and highly visible role within one of the business’s fastest growing divisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant looking for a hands on role with real ownership, autonomy and exposure to senior stakeholders in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

The business operates across brand communications, social, digital, experiential and creative services, working with and across the UK and internationally. The group is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next 12–24 months.

The role:

You’ll work closely with divisional leadership and external stakeholders, taking ownership of the full management accounts process whilst supporting commercial decision making across a busy client driven environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Revenue recognition and WIP management
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Margin and profitability analysis
• Business partnering with operational stakeholders
• Supporting project and client reporting
• Process improvement across finance operations

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, high energy environment where finance is closely integrated with the commercial side of the business.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is studying ACCA / CIMA or similar
• Has strong hands on management accounts experience
• Comes from a creative, agency, media or project based environment
• Is commercially curious and confident working with non finance stakeholders
• Enjoys pace, autonomy and variety
• Has experience with revenue recognition, WIP or project accounting
• Experience with Paprika would be highly advantageous
