Job summary

Marks Sattin partnered with a leading luxury retail brand to recruit a Management Accountant in Central London with hybrid working. The role supports monthly financial and statutory reporting and reports to an experienced Financial Controller.

This is ideal for a recently qualified ACA seeking broader technical accounting experience within an international business, offering exposure to group consolidations, intercompany accounting and IFRS reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with group consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Experience with foreign exchange in multi-entity environments.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly Group financial reporting with internal packs and ad hoc analysis.
• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102, local GAAP and IFRS for the group subsidiaries.
• Oversee the Group consolidation process including intercompany and FX accounting.
• Assist with statutory reporting obligations, including UK and international tax matters.
• Own designated balance sheet reconciliations and monthly/quarterly closings.
• Coordinate with finance team to ensure timely balance sheet processes and reconciliations.
• Support interim and year-end audits and manage audit deliverables for Group and subsidiaries.

We're delighted to be partnering with a leading luxury retail brand to recruit a Management Accountant to support the group's financial and statutory reporting processes.

Based in Central London with hybrid working, this role reports directly to an experienced Financial Controller with a strong track record of developing and mentoring finance talent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant looking to broaden their technical accounting expertise within a dynamic, international business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly Group financial reporting, preparing internal reporting packs and responding to ad hoc analysis requests.
• Prepare statutory accounts for subsidiaries in accordance with FRS 102 and local GAAP requirements, while supporting IFRS Group reporting.
• Oversee the Group consolidation process, including intercompany transactions and foreign exchange accounting.
• Assist with statutory reporting obligations, including UK and international corporation tax matters.
• Take ownership of designated balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly and quarterly reconciliations and resolving queries.
• Coordinate with the wider finance team to ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support interim and year-end audits, coordinating audit requests and managing deliverables for both Group and subsidiary audits.

About You

• Recently qualified ACA (or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with group consolidations, intercompany accounting and foreign exchange within a multi-entity environment.
• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102, local GAAP and IFRS.
