Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Management Accountant for a permanent role in Essex. The candidate will prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, monitor budgets and forecasts, and assist with year-end processes while liaising with auditors.

AAT Level 4 and team leadership experience are essential. The successful applicant will ensure compliance with financial regulations, support reconciliations and variance analysis, and provide insights to non-financial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 minimum and experience leading teams of 4+
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
