Job summary

Marks Sattin is recruiting a Management Accountant for a growing organisation based in East Leeds. This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to take ownership of management accounts, financial reporting, analysis and controls.

You'll prepare monthly management accounts, produce balance sheet reconciliations, monitor overheads, support year-end and external audit, assist with VAT/CIS returns, and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with good month-end experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative finance team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Producing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitoring overheads and investigating cost variances.
• Supporting year-end accounts and the external audit.
• Assisting with VAT and CIS returns.
• Reviewing and improving financial controls.
