Job summary

Christopher Brian Recruitment Limited is partnering with a growing accountancy practice to appoint a commercially minded Management Accountant to oversee a portfolio of property-based clients.

You’ll be the main finance contact, combining technical delivery with relationship management and team oversight, including mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified.
• Strong management accounts experience within practice or outsourced finance.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of property management clients
• Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts with commentary
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
• Overseeing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and transactional processes
• Leading and developing a small team of bookkeepers
• Building strong client relationships and attending regular meetings
• Driving process improvements and adding value to service delivery

We’re working with a growing and highly regarded accountancy practice that’s expanding its outsourced finance team. They’re now looking to appoint a commercially minded Management Accountant to take ownership of a portfolio of property-based clients.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys client interaction, wants to step into a leadership role, and is looking to build long-term progression within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified

• Organised, commercially aware, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
