Job summary

11 Investments in London is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager / Management Accountant to own day-to-day accounts and advise on cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and broader financial reporting.

This hands-on, standalone role sits in a small finance team, requiring strong bookkeeping, autonomy, and the ability to present financial information to senior stakeholders.

Experience in construction or property finance is helpful, but not essential, and the role is office-based in SW London.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in an accounting, bookkeeping or similar finance role.
• Hands-on experience across day-to-day accounts management.
• Experience preparing or maintaining cash-flow forecasts.
• Strong Xero and Excel skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to work autonomously.
• Accounting qualification in progress or equivalent would be advantageous; construction/property exposure is a plus.

• Processing invoices, payments, income, receipts and employee expenses.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and completing reconciliations in Xero.
• Entering and managing financial information in construction management software.

• Producing regular cash-flow reports and highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Providing financial analysis to support business planning.

Accounts Manager / Management Accountant

Location: SW London

Working pattern: Full-time, office-based

The opportunity

We are partnering with a growing, design-led property business specialising in exceptional private residential projects across the UK and internationally.

Following significant growth, the business is looking for an experienced Management Accountant/Accounts Manager to take ownership of its day-to-day accounts function while also supporting cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and wider financial reporting.

This is a hands-on, standalone position within a small, close-knit team. It would suit someone who combines strong bookkeeping experience with the confidence to manage their workload independently and provide forward-looking financial information to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the accounts inbox and responding to supplier and internal queries
• Processing invoices, payments, income, receipts and employee expenses
• Maintaining accurate financial records and completing reconciliations in Xero
• Entering and managing financial information within the company’s construction management software
• Preparing and maintaining rolling cash-flow forecasts across the wider group
• Supporting the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Producing regular cash-flow reports and highlighting potential risks and opportunities
• Providing financial analysis to support business planning
• Working closely with the external accountant and assisting with year-end preparation
• Contributing to the continued development of finance processes as the business grows

About you

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• At least five years’ experience in an accountancy, bookkeeping or similar finance role
• Strong hands-on experience across day-to-day accounts management
• Experience preparing or maintaining cash-flow forecasts
• Strong Xero and Excel skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to organise and manage a standalone workload with limited supervision
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, senior management and external advisers

A relevant accounting qualification, or progress towards one, would be advantageous. Previous construction or property experience, including exposure to CIS or construction VAT, would also be beneficial but is not essential.
